Valentine's Date at the Zoo

Friday we were invited to go to the zoo with some friends (David and Tyler Nuñez),

and since that sounded like a fun day date (okay, and because we like them!),

we went.

I was soooo excited to take Bronx and see what his reaction would be to all the animals.

The tiger was the coolest I think.

Seeing them not on a TV screen reminds me how giant they really are,

and dangerous!

Just looking at this tiger's huge paws made me think how easy it is for them to take out any person in one swipe.

Elephants and zebras. Do you see that little baby elephant?!

The polar bear was pretty sweet (and HUGE),

even though you can't see it in this pic.

It was pacing back and forth right in from of Lauren and Bronx on those rocks by the water.

It was definitely a fun day with awesome weather!
That evening we went out (all 3 of us-i had forgotten to get a babysitter, whoops!),
went to the mall,
and around 9:30 headed over to Texas Roadhouse thinking we'd have missed the rush.
Um NO.
The restaurant was PACKED and there was still an hour and a half wait for two people!
Holy cow.
9:30PM you guys!
So we opted to go rent Ender's Game and get pizza.
Hahaha.
Super romantic huh?
In all honesty we had a blast,
the movie was great,
and Bronx liked pizza more anyways.
We'll have to hit up Texas Roadhouse again in a week or two though,
because man those ribs and rolls still sound sooooo good!
