So to start, my birthday was Sunday July 26 and that is when we packed and headed over to Meridian. We were both stinkin excited and ready for a little break from the drudgery of work! Four hours later (thanks to our lead feet) we arrived and had more birthday fun with my fam!

Monday morning our plane left at 1pm, so naturally we had to be there 2hours early to check in, go through security, use the bathroom etc. Well, after all was said and done, we were on our way! Our plane had two layovers, both really short which meant lots of sprinting from plane to plane, and a quick meal-on-the-go. The first was Salt Lake, then a loooonnng flight to Atlanta, and then up to Rochester, NEW YORK BABY! We did a time jump of two hours forward so we arrived around midnight east coast time. Boy were we pooped and ready for sleep!
- let me break here and say that my mom and dad put SO MUCH preparation and planning into this family vacation that everything EVERYTHING was INCREDIBLE and SUPER FUN! and i do believe my parents bent over backwards for us kids! -
Okay, so we stayed that first night in a hotel in the same parking lot as the airport.
Tuesday morning we woke up bright and early, picked up the two rental cars (a ford focus & mini van) and headed off to the Hill Comorah, Sacred Grove, E.B. Grandin Publishing House(Palmyra), & Peter Whitmer Farm(WaterLoo).
That's my dad driving the van ahead and if you look a little further you can see the four steeples of the four churches, all on the same block. Kinda funny.
Oh we are cute...
We love taking pictures.
That looks so fun! Cute pictures!
