December Snapshots

December 30, 2015

We kicked off December by seeing the Christmas lights on Temple Square....and apparently so did everyone else.
The place was paaaaacked.
We went with my parents and Tay,
but Kevin couldn't make it in time because he was helping his brother in law on a job up in Ogden.
We ate at City Creek first...

Tinley during church.
Stickers + notepads = lifesavors!
I discovered that Bronx and Tinley will sit for more than 5 minutes quietly if they have these things.
And that feels like a little miracle during sacrament meeting!

We had one of Santa's elf's join us in December for the first time.
He was dubbed "Sneaker".

Tinley's new trick.
It drives me nuts.

We had a few okay snow days before leaving for Rexburg,
and of course we went out to play in them!
Bronx loves the snow and Tinley...does not.
hahaha

Tinley was inside watching after about 5 minutes :)

Bronx's face when we have to come inside.
Not my favorite.

She's just pretty stinkin cute lately,
and starting to say a lot more words!

Getting the Christmas tree ready to come inside.

Bronx was actually ticked when he saw Sneaker had taken one of his tractors and was riding it this morning.
haha.
So I had to think of something quick to make his whiny attitude about it go away!
Here's what happened a little later that day:

This kid.
He was so funny with the cutie oranges this month.
When I brought the first batch home he ate them like normal,
and then after that he wouldn't eat them.
He'd peel them,
suck on them,
and then spit them out.
It drove me crazy!
So he wasn't allowed any more,
but would LOVE to peel them for anyone,
which was pretty cute.
He's just getting so big and is SUCH a huge help to me!

And then there's this stink pot who LOVES to drive her big brother crazy.
Which, drives me crazy.
She seriously has gotten to this phase where she'll just be walking by and hit Bronx on the head as she walks by,
or pull his hair,
or run and tackle him while he's watching a show.
It's hilarious for about 2 seconds,
and then the whining starts and I'm over it.

Sneaker hangin' out in Bronx's door frame.

Like father like son.
Sunday naps are a must around here.

This happened and it was epic.

Took a trip to a local toy store to gather some ideas for Santa.
I'm obsessed with those cute little shopping carts now!

We went out multiple mornings to pick up Christmas presents for daddy.
This was one day they were exceptionally good,
so I got to play the "fun" mommy card and took them to get donuts on the way home!
haha

Got to go to a PG basketball game and watch our niece Dres perform.
She's just so dang good,
and her dance that night was contemporary...which was SO beautiful!

Made a visit to Cabella's and ran into Santa!
You can't tell by Bronx's face,
but he was stoked and totally told him what he wanted (a BIG digger).
Tinley....hahaha #classic

Bronx decided to take all of the clean clothes on my bed and place them all over his room,
making them "hide" his toy mess.
Uhhhhh.

They love watching for daddy to come home!

At the church playing while Kevin plays some church ball.

She learned how to crawl out of her crib and would sleep here for naps and bedtimes,
until we finally converted the crib to a toddler bed.

She will play with cars all day long.
I was pretty excited to get her more girly stuff for Christmas!

This one was actually taken after Christmas (thus the BIG digger in the pic),
but here's how Bronx watches shows lately.
It's hilarious!
He seriously loves those tractors.

A lunch date with daddy at his work during the sloooooow holiday week!
