Christmas in Rexburg (part 1)

January 3, 2016

S N O W  D A Y !

We drove up to Rexburg right after Kevin got off work Tuesday night.
We had been debating that day about whether or not we should go,
because a storm was supposed to be coming that afternoon/evening,
but when the time rolled around the weather wasn't too horrible so we just went for it.
And we actually had fairly decent/clear roads the whole way.
SO happy we did because the next morning we woke up to this winter wonderland:

Kevin and I both think that some of the greatest things about Rexburg are:
1. the snow
2. the cold (because it kills all the bugs and we love sleeping in front of heaters...sorry Las Vegas and Texas cousins!)

So seeing all this snow was bomb,
and of course we went right out in it to play!

Tinley was even a good sport for a solid half hour.
haha (that's a record for her!)

I promise he was loving it too,
but the second I pull out the camera (or really, the second I ask him to take a pic with me),
is the second he turns into a beasty scrooge.
boo!

Let's all admire Kevin's mom's talent for a minute.
She painted this and sent it out as their Christmas card this year!

Breakfast as Grammy's.

Every time we are visiting we try to drive past our old stomping grounds.
Here's the first place we had as newlyweds.
Top right.
Good old Everett Pl.
:)

While daddy napped (he got up at 5 every other day while we were there to play ball with his dad at the college),
we took more pics (what else?).
Also, besides Bird and Braxton (who have their own place),
we were the only ones at the Fullers for Christmas.
It was weird!

Here's her evil/annoyed stare/glare.
hahaha it cracks me up every time!
And she does it on demand now!

Love these little stinkers!
