Sisterfest 2010

ne of the best things about Kevin is that he was blessed with eight very creative, very energetic, and very fun sisters! Because most of them have moved away, are married with kids, and don't get to visit very often, they came up with a brilliant idea: Every two years they try to all get together for what they call a "Sisterfest". It's a crazy fun chunk of time set aside where no husbands or kids are invited. Sounds pretty good eh? Well, they invited me to join them in the last one they had..... and it was a BLAST!

Here we are Saturday morning before we started on our scavenger hunt. (Holl and Case and Alissa we definitely MISSED YOU!! (Lucky Case and Caleb got to go and suprise Holl and her fam though, so they got some good bonding time in too!)

Um and I don't know why I am the only one posing like a freak. I think I got mixed up. Awesome.

Now I'm going to tell you a little story. 

When we all got to the mall we were all so excited, and sinse we are girls, we are all smiling and laughing and talking loudly.  We decide we need to go to an open area where we can "begin" the hunt, and so we head right to the center of the mall.  Well, this Idaho Falls mall we have isn't very big, and so with eight blondies (with some reds mixed in) we kind of stood out.  We got this nice guy who looked like an NBA player to take our photo and as soon as the cameras come out, guess who walks up......A MALL COP (definitely not as funny as Paul Blart)!  

And he says: "Excuse me, but cameras arn't allowed in the mall."

Us: "REALLY?!" Pretending to be suprised and not ticked he is ruining our fun.

Cop: "Yea, what are you doing?"

Us: "Just taking pictures!" All happy and thinking: 'duh, what does it look like dude?'

Our mistake: "We thought it would be fun to do a scavenger hunt here."

Cop: "Oh we don't allow those either."

Us: "Oh. Okay." get as far away from him as possible.

So of course we did our scavenger hunt anyways thanks to cell phones with cameras.  It actually ended up being funner because we had to be sneaky! Unfortunately, sometimes being sneaky looks a lot like you are dishonest, or stealing stuff.... because we had a whole lot of old lady sales clerks follow us around their department stores till we finally left....

To go watch Linz play in her basketball game! 

(For those of you that don't know the Fuller's, they are a basketball loving fanatic family.  I think because Kendall was only blessed with two boys, he had to make up for it somehow. And so he made an all-girls basketball team with his daughters...And they grew up loving the sport...and are dang good at it too!)

We made we a couple supportive posters which she loved....hehe

I couldn't get Cin to look away from the game! She rocks at basketball too and so gets really into the games... good thing Bird has such an attractive smile here.

What better way than to celebrate a win?

Oh Yes.  The Cocoa Bean.

Linz is just the cutest ever. She is going to love me soooo much for showing this sweet side of her.

K. Now rewind a little to Friday.  A few of us stopped into Florence's and Ang bought us some D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S. chocolate! We also got a quick picture with Florence herself since she happened to be the only one working! She was so funny and super nice!

I thought Ang looks so cute here (for reals) and I don't know what Kevin's doing, but who cares (I do love him lots and lots though).
