Sunday morning was spent eating breakfast and walking down the street to Target,
to get some last-minute/forgotten supplies.
For me that was Dromamine.
Best investment ever for this ship ride.
Oh yea,
we also picked up some Rook cards.
Another good investment.
Check-in for our cruise opened at noon,
so we left our hotel around 11ish...i think{i am trying REALLY hard to remember the details here...}.

Waiting for our Van.....
And que funny story:
We found out that the shuttle from the hotel to our ship would be 10 bucks/person,
so we decided to go with a local taxie service that just charged $25 from hotel to port.
Caleb {or Ang - i forget} called and specifically requested a van.
Not a car.

We got a car.

And all 6 of us squished our way inside,
after watching our driving bunjie-cord his trunk shut.
{We were betting on who's suitcase we'd loose along the way about this time...}
It was a delightful 20 minute ride.
I think we also paid $18/couple...so like $54 total?
Haha...not what we were thinking!
Our Taxi driver's name was Walter.
He told us he'd been doing this all his life,
and before Tampa,
he'd driven in the Big Apple.
So our cruise line was Norweagian,
and we didn't realize it until we got there,
but this was their first time ever leaving out of the Tampa Bay.
Needless to say,
things went slllooowly for a looonnnggg time.
Ang and Josh {who have been on 2 other criuses} said that neither one of their other boarding lines were like this.
T-totally torch is what it was!

We all kinda felt a little like this inside,
but put on happy faces because...
we were going on a CRUISE!!!!

It seemed like we went through line after line.
And the bad thing about lines is:
sometimes you get stuck talking to people,
and sometimes they end up being conversation terrorists.
Poor Caleb got sucked into talking with this seeminly "nice" old couple behind us.
But this "nice" old couple really turned out to be perverted,
and liked telling us all about their previous cruises,
and all the naughty late-nights shows not to miss.
Actually,
more on them later.
About two hours later we were finally stepping onto the ship!
Norwegian Star.

{view from one of our long lines}

So these are the handy-dandy cards we were presented with in one of our long lines.
They were our boarding passes for getting off, and on our ship.
{that way we didn't have to end up taking our passports off at every port with us}
And basically they were linked to our credit card,
so they worked as everything else while we were on the ship.

The first thing we did was go find our room!
Caleb and Case's was next door to ours,
but Josh and Ang's was accross the hall - with a nice big window!
I wish I would've gotten a picture of it!
Then we went up top.

The guys.
Kevin. Josh. Caleb.

Tampa, Florida.

It was pretty neat to look out at all the other ships and realize how high up we were!
After walking around some more,
and watching some of the fun "Sail -Away Party" and enjoying some BBQ,
we explored some more and ended up back up top at the basketball court.

Playing P-I-G of course.

Do you see my hair?
Yea,
it was extreemely windy.
Because it was extreemely windy,
the boat was rocking lots.
That dramamine was my best friend!

We always watch movies like the Titanic or The Gaurdian and think:
"Yea, those waves look scary, but it's just a movie."
Well,
seeing them at night was the real deal.
And they were freaky.
And black.
And one night the TV told us they were 7-12 foot swells!
I couldn't stare at them for too long or bad thoughts would creep in.
One of the highlights of the entire cruise would have to be Josh's dancing.
Here's a taste of Josh's mad dance skills:
The only thing that wouldn've made it better,
would be to have his boys out there dancing with him!
{they're such lady-killers with all their sweet break dance moves}
Throughout the week we'd be walking and peeps would call out:
"Are we gonna see some more dancing tonight?!"
Haha,
oh it was great.
Bedtime was......3ish this time.
