We had another fun-filled Saturday night.
Right after work,
Kevin invited over Blanchards, Tietjens, and Lloyds (plus others that couldn't come).
We decided to make personal pizzas for dinner,
so we piled in the truck (don't worry not all of us) and went to Broulim's to get the desired ingredients.
We came back, made 'em, and then ate 'em.
They were muy excellente!
Haha, but really, it would have been cheaper to just grab a Dominoes.
(That's okay though, because it was dang fun having everybody in the kitchen at once!)
After we finished eating,
somehow we got into trying to lift a dead-weighted body off the ground,
you know, like those firefighters do in those movies.
For simplicity's sake, we will name this "game" Fireman's-Dead-Lift.
Let me tell you,
Let me tell you,
it's not easy to lift someone.
I'm sad to say that if there was a fire in our house,
(and Kevin was unconscious)
(and Kevin was unconscious)
Kevin would either get left behind or have 3rd degree carpet burns from me dragging him outside.
Because there is no way in heck that I can lift - let alone carry - him.
The best part about this game is watching other people try.
It's hilarious to see what positions people end up in!
And it's also dang hard pretending to be dead or passed out when there's a hand tickling you around the waist.
Please enjoy the following pictures.
When we got bored of that,
we went across the street to Charles's work and played sardines.
That game never gets old.
P.S.
Today I was a SUNBEAM sub.
And I am cured for the moment from my "baby-hunger".
Ha!
Sure you're cured...just for a little bit ;). That was a really fun night! I love partying with all who where there!
ReplyDeleteHi Audrey, it's Kevin's cousin. I had to laugh at your "Sunbeam cure" for baby hunger. When we first got married, we were immediately put into Primary, and it had a similar effect. After spending 2 hours with those little darlings, we were quite ready to return to our own quiet little home. ;) The good news is, usually your own come one at a time!
ReplyDeletehow cute! i love this

Dude, I've been the Sunbeams teacher the whole time we've been in Ohio....that's just about 4 years now! Super fun. Remember this Audrey, you get to teach your own kids and raise them the way you want to. :) But Sunbeams are crazy. When you have them all year long though, you get to know them and you start loving them to death (most of them anyway)and don't want them to move onto the next class. With your own kids, its way better than that. I know you guys aren't ready to have kids yet, but i can't wait for you to have one. :) He/she is going to be so freaking cute! And you're going to be an awesome mom when it is actually time.
ReplyDeleteP.S. The game you guys played looked super fun!
